Wished I’d have read these reviews before ordering a suite, after service is absolutely atrocious they come out then write a report to say there’s nothing wrong with it the cushions don’t meet each other and one of the backs is not inline with the rest I would never buy from them again

Staff at furniture village were great but delivery company they use are atrocious, four young men arrived to deliver a family members bed, they put the matress on the wrong way which.meant when using the remote the wrong end of the bed raised also after one night on the bed my family member noticed the mattress had moved due to it not being fitted into the base properly, they had no common sense not one out of the four managed to do the job properly..they need to find a new delivery company you definitely don't get what you pay for ..absolute joke.

Wow haven’t got words my bed came 13 feb with broken lights sent someone today to rectify but no joy. How hard is it to get the bed picked up and my money back. No customer service absolutely disgusting. No help what so ever.

Friendly helpful staff Ariana 4 seater was delivered on time without fuss, but after having it for a couple of months I’m not happy with the cushions as the feathers are coming out of the cushions and they dig into you when you sit on the settee, really disappointed as it was not a cheap settee and I did enquire how much it would be for extra cushions and was told they were £50 each to buy, of which I declined and am pleased that I did other than that the settee Is beautiful and very comfortable

Rwclung sofa chair was left with me for 4 months after their engineer found seat and electrics faulty. Had to sit on a chair uncomfortable for this period whilst they awaited a part. Having complained the delay is unreasonable they ignored me and refused to give me their company secretary name to issue proceedings

6 hours ago New After care following purchase of products is horrendous and warranties are not honoured. 2 year warranty but advised "if it were to have happened, it would have earlier". Have a look at further reviews in relation to this (I wish we had) before purchasing any products. Spent £7,000 at our local store to not be able to replace a singular sofa cushion that is faulty and no escalation process other than citizens advice. Disappointed to say the least as we initially loved our purchases.

I ordered a bed in September 2024, and was told it would be 9 weeks until it was delivered. 15 weeks later, the wrong bed arrived. The customer 'care' team called to let me know the right bed would be delivered in another 11 weeks. 26 weeks. 6 months! To deliver a bed. How are they still in business? They were polite and offered to resend the wrong bed, so I have something to sleep on. I was just shocked that there was no ‘goodwill’ discount offered on the bed - as an apology for them making a mistake and taking 6 months to deliver! They offered free delivery - as I would expect when it takes them 6 months to deliver a bed! I was about to order all my kitchen, living room AND dining room furniture from them (££££), it’s all picked out and in my Furniture Village Shortlist on their website – so their inability to apologise adequately and financially incentive customers to remain loyal to their company – has cost them a huge order! Unhappy customers talk… and when I said this the lady on the phone, she laughed and said she would pass my comments on to the managers. So, they are bad at delivering the correct furniture, bad at delivering on time, terrible at customer care AND arrogant enough to laugh and think their bad customer care is funny…

I am looking to buy new lounge furniture but thank goodness I read the appaling reviews written by people who purchased from Furniture Village. After reading the about poor quality items and dreadful customer service my advice would be to anyone with a serious complaint to gather all your evidence and take them to the Small claims court. This is not a difficult process.

Still nothing. After my first review some Rich emailed saying he would ‘personally’ look after us and make sure we got our dining table pre Christmas. NOTHING. THEY PROMISED A ‘loan’ table that never arrived and it’s almost the new year and no one cares. We managed to call the warehouse itself and a very apologetic genuine person confirmed our table was there but no one had requested it. This was the week before Christmas. Still nothing. We tried contacting this Richard and no one knew of him. What an absolute disgrace you are.

I ordered an expensive dining table & 4 chairs from the Trafford Store Manchester on 9th October 2024, I was told by Paul the salesperson they would be delivered the middle of November (5 week delivery)... My furniture was finally delivered 20th December at 17.10... I had tried to contact customer services a few times, no one picked up the phone... You could leave a voicemail for someone to ring you back, this never happened!! I was phoned on 17th December to say they might be able to deliver on the 20th December, but I needed to go to store to pay the balance as I paid a cash deposit, I explained I couldn't make it to the store, I could settle balance over the phone but I wasn't happy at the delivery date not being a definite, she said for me to ring the store to sort this out, I said I had tried before & no one answers the phone, she then said she would send an email... I got a call on the 19th December to take my payment & confirm delivery... The customer service is appalling!! They make promises they can't keep!! I would not recommend this company!!

We ordered a lot of furniture in August making it perfectly clear that we couldn't accept delivery until the earliest December as we were having a major renovation on the house From November the warehouse have been bullying us to accept the furniture. There has been a little delay in the work so we asked if we could take deliver this coming w/b 13th January. The shop (Plymouth) were great and said that was no problem, but unfortunately their staff in the warehouse don't sing to the same tune Plymouth warehouse, I don't want to hear about your policies and procedures as to why I have to take delivery when you say. Our 'contract' was with the shop, not you. If you have a problem with what the shop tell us then talk to them and stop hassling the clients Shop staff were lovely and helpful. Warehouse staff? Oh dear!

Our goods are sitting in the warehouse but no one will call you back to arrange delivery. Spoke to girl who did not care. Said tgey will not call us because tgey shut shop and all went out so they will not call for 72 hours. She didn’t even take my name so how does she know.

Do not buy a sofa from furniture village unless you want to wait exactly 24 weeks for your sofa. They will take alot of your money ,then when you need help. It is the fulfilment team. Who never call you back. Terrible experience!!

However, when an issue arose, they outright refused to honor the warranty, despite their promises. Not only were their claims about the warranty misleading, but their after-sales service was appalling. When I called customer service to address the issue, the staff were extremely aggressive and unprofessional over the phone, making the experience even worse. Furniture Village also misleads customers with claims that their bedroom wardrobes have great cover and durability, but this is far from the truth. This company is unreliable, with false promises and shocking customer service. Avoid this cowboy company at all costs. This is a terrible company. We made an order with them on the first of June 2024 for 2 sofas and 4 beds. We received the sofas slightly late which wasn’t too bed but 2 beds got delivered 4 months late and another bed got delivered 5 months late and faulty so it went back and we haven’t received it since it’s now 6 months on and no there’s no help from customer service either. And mine and my husbands bed was recently delivered 6 months late and the delivery men put a rip in the side. They said they’ll replace it but who knows when. Avoid this company they will take your money and leave you waiting for your goods for months and don’t expect any help from them if it’s faulty they just say I’ll get back to you.

Like others have said, wish I had done my homework before buying from this joke of a company. Dealt with MK store who promise the earth then don't deliver. Customer Service is non existent. Calls not returned, complaints not followed up. Orders not delivered when promised, then when they are delivered, missing parts which as yet haven't arrived. Bought a sofa from Sofology which went very well - go there!
