AVOID AVOID Only had the £3300 sofa less than 3 months, at which point we started noticing the seat had dipped on one side. On closer inspection we noticed the foot was wobbly, when my husband tried to tighten the screws, they were just spinning around, so we phoned the engineer. The engineer came out, took all the inside packing out, and didn’t replace them, then tried to tighten the screws which he couldn’t do. He then got up said do you want the sofa replacing or fixing, to which we replied I’m happy if you can fix it to which he got up and said ok well I will make my report out, and you will hear from furniture village soon, and we will get it sorted. Days passed and we never heard anything, so after phoning furniture village being disconnected put on hold, and being put on a wild goose chase, we finally spoke to someone who told us unfortunately the engineer tells us that the sofa has had a heavy impact, and it’s your fault, and the manufacturers warranty does not cover this.
