Applied for the card online and was accepted. Received the card and called to confirm that I would receive the promotional offer. After meeting the requirements, I was told I had to wait 6-8 weeks to get the Delta SkyMiles added to my account. After waiting several weeks, I called back and was told I never qualified for the card with the promotional offer despite being told twice that I did qualify! Beware of American Express promotional offers—they can change their mind after you qualify for the card!
