My husband and I have over 35 years (combined) with the American Express and always thought that this card will protect us from a fraud. And this was the case until this year's event. Unfortunately, it is not the case any more. AMEX not just refuses to investigate the case, but also were dishonest with us at the time when we tried to submit the dispute (4 times!). First we were shocked and tried to prove the case, knowing that the AMEX always protects their customer. Very soon we realized that no-one actually reviewed our documents and they just keep requesting the same documents again and again. It is a "ground hog day" over and over again, and no-one comes with the solution. At this moment we are looking for another credit card with some dicency and dignity.
