My pet has liver disease and is being managed with medication. However, he picked up a stomach bug, was hospitalised and the bug was flushed from his system -no problems been fine ever since. Put the claim in for this and they automatically linked this with his liver disease. My vet wrote in support of my claim stating it was an infection, and not the same as the liver disease - two separate issues. They still refused to listen, still refused to pay. Then they increased my policy costs by over double. I would like to have given them Zero stars - they are not there when you really need them. Not so sure they should be called Animal Friends!!
