Nearly a year ago my dog died from cancer. I was insured with Animal Friends at the time. I made a claim only to be told they wouldn’t pay out because 4 years previous she’s had gastroenteritis and any other stomach prob would not be covered.
My vet said the stomach cancer was a completely different issue. He wrote a letter stating this. Still they refused to pay out. Never again would I use animal friend pet insurance. They don’t like paying out and will use every excuse not to
