I have been with carrot for the past year and a half, it’s had it’s up and downs along the way. My biggest pet peeve is the orange box! It’s great for a few months, then just suddenly stops working. It recorded a ‘red score’ saying I was driving over the limit (of 30mph May I add) on a motorway! I think this insurance is good for people starting out with their first car or needing to get their insurance down. Customer service is okay, depends who you speak to on live chat. Some people will do everything to help you whilst others just brush it off like it’s nothing to do with them. I’ve had issues changing my payment dates to the 28th of every month, it kept coming out the day or two before my payday which then incurred a £30 charge.
