Everything. Rang up as I thought I was being paying double on my home and buildings insurance - so phoned Churchill to cancel theirs as it looked more expensive on my bank statement- no-one as Churchill asked me if it was buildings or home. Found out through Countrywide who I was home insured with so went to reinstate my buildings insurance with Churchill for £12. However, AS I had cancelled my insurance. My new policy had gone up by £4 month because I was a NEW customer (3 years with them). I said yes to the new policy not realising that this was written in blood - £35 get out clause - but this was 24 hours ago - Surely we have some reflection time! So today I called them to say cancel it as I have found a cheaper one with the Post Office for £11 a month not £16 @ Churchill. They said I am not able to cancel as its a new policy. I cannot believe that such a reputable company has gone out of its way to treat customers this badly. Their policies are designed to rip people off . Definitely not the YES company they portray themselves to be. I will not be renewing after this.
