I have been involved in a vehicle accident in June 2023. I logged a claim on my app after reporting it to saps. I was told I must pay excess of R5800.00 even though it was not my fault and they'll try to recover my excess fee from the guilty party. I got notified that I'm not getting my excess fee back the recovery process is unsuccessful so the guilty party walks free while I lost R5800.00 . I don't have words to describe my disappointment in my insurance company Dail direct and to top it all the excess fee is going up quite heavy with almost R1000.00 maybe they think money grow on trees . I gave them all the details of the 3rd party including accident report number 😞
