When using the phone to complain you are shunted from one department to another until you loose the will to live. Try to talk to a person in branch and they tell you to phone the help-line. Seems it is a ploy to avoid any physical contact with clients.
This is not a very good message to give to clients - very off putting and will lose the reputation it is trying to cling onto as 'the caring bank' What a joke!!
