I'm deeply disappointed and frustrated with LV's home insurance claim process. We faced an unfortunate incident with a broken internal pipe on the 7th of June. LV chose to send multiple representatives from FFDR Limited, none of whom were able to rectify the leak. By the time the British Gas team arrived and fixed the issue within a mere 10 minutes, considerable damage had been inflicted upon our property.
Now, two months have elapsed, and we're still waiting for LV to honour our claim. Despite swiftly collecting an excess of £350 from us over the last 35 days, there's been zero progress. To add to the inconvenience, they plan to strip down our kitchen ceiling and wallpapers, yet expect us to continue living in the property amid the chaos, showcasing a blatant disregard for customer safety.
Communication is almost nonexistent. Every single update requires us to chase them down, only adding to the stress of the situation. We've made the decision to cancel all our insurance policies with them. It's infuriating how such powerful companies seemingly operate with impunity.
Avoid LV's home insurance claim team at all costs. Their lack of care and communication speaks volumes about their approach to customer service.
