Had a minor car accident which was not my fault. Phoned LV first question was is every one ok? which was good cars can be repaired people take longer. Had a phone call after to go through the claim very easy to deal with was informed within a few hours that my car would be repaired FOC was up-graded on the loan vehicle and was kept informed of all progress. Car now back looking as good as new. Many thanks

I have pet insurance with LV and I tried to put a claim in for a hernia operation for my dog but because she was spayed 18 months ago and this could possibly be the cause and I say possibly they have rejected the claim so why have insurance when they get out of everything using the small print

Had a home insurance claim, firstly premium almost doubled due to us claiming. They pass the claim over to a contractor and will not have any more dealings with you. They do not want to know. They make the contractor deal with other parties on the claim and manage the claim in full. If you call them, they put you through to the builders who they have instructed on your claim. They do not want to know. Really useless and unhelpful. I actually felt sorry for the contractors.

I use to recommend LV but in the last two years i would not recommend them to anyone. The staff expect respect but are impatient and rude and have no time for people who are older and need more time to understand or make their mind up. They keep you waiting for up to 20 minutes before connecting you to an advisor, and when connected to an advisor he or she is rude and impatient. Policy has increased by 70% despite no claims being made. LV needs to fix up or continue to lose customers. I contacted LV on behalf of an 88 year old customer who had hearing difficulties.

Home (buildings insurance ) went from £418 to £618 in a year. Not had to make a claim ever and been with them for years. What would it be next year if I stayed with them. What happen to this good company--- now owned by Allianz ! Can't imagine that they will suceed much longer.

In 2023,LV insured my car for £282.the following year in 2024 they put my insurance up to £458.this is an increase of over 60%.and this is without any accident of any kind.i think this is what they they give a goog quote to lure you in ,then the next year they lay it on.im a pensioner so I can’t afford this increase,so it means I have to sell my car.disgusting behaviour from LV insurance.

LV destroyed my bathroom and refused to fix it for 6 month. I am a 78 years old widow living on my own and have mobility issues. I need the use of the downstairs bathroom to avoid the stairs. LV came to fix my downstairs bathroom floor that had water damage. In the process of "fixing" this damage, they smashed the bathroom suite. This resulted in them leaving the bathroom completely ruined for 5 months with no floor, no bath and no sink, they left the toilet in the sitting room. After months of time chasing and arguing with LV they still refused to fix the broken bathroom but instead agreed to give us some money. This is currently with the legal Ombudsman to help us get proper compensation for our time, stress and grief. Avoid this company at all cost.

It is crucial to be aware of their manipulative strategies; they will go to great lengths to deceive you into making an investment, which could lead to your financial ruin. I was fortunate that A C T I N V S T L T D . COM assisted me in retrieving my money.

Like reviews.io, as it's more accurate site for us. Looks like I am not single one to have bad experience with LV Insurance then. I was absolutely shocked to see my car insurance renewal price increase by 50% this year! It’s incredibly disappointing that there were no good deals offered for loyal customers, despite years of commitment. However, this situation turned out to be a blessing in disguise. After shopping around, I found a much better deal with another provider. Not only did I save several hundred pounds, but I also ended up with better coverage! If you're facing a similar hike, I highly recommend exploring your options—loyalty clearly doesn’t always pay off.

Not used them, nor will I because if you watch their TV adverts they only cater to black people. Not a good idea to advertise to just 4% of the population!

If I could give a minus score I would. We have not claimed anything from LV previously after quite a number years of having house insurance with them. We had a leak under the floor in our house and the claim started in March 2024 and here we are in July and we are still waiting for things to be finished. We had mould in cupboards and had to throw quite a bit of stuff away. It took them 6 weeks to pump the water out, the health & safety aspect after the water was pumped out (raised boards, wires everywhere etc.) Was not suitable for living. The issues went on and on especially when it came to the contractors Highbury Homes and now loss adjusters Sedgwick. NOBODY is bothered about us incl. The CEO who responded to an email in May with thank you for your email! I could go on and on but DO NOT have your house insurance with this company

Total cr*p. Online system just simply said they can't insure me! No explanation given. So I phoned them up. Still no explanation. Couldn't help. Just said it was an underwriting refusal, no details available as its all top secret. Never ever happened to me in my life before. What wan*ers. Suspect they are applying some non PC filtering e.g. on age, gender or race so aren't prepared to give details. Shan't be wasting my time with them ever again.

Absolute scam artists, they wont honour any claims and will accuse you of lying. They will re-write the entire policy and twist it to mean something different to avoid paying you a single penny. DO NOT USE THEM, THEIR INSURANCE IS WORTHLESS.

I became the victim of an insurance scam at Liverpool Victoria when someone made a claim against my insurer - but I have never had an incident with the claimant. Thanks to the neglect of the claims department, I have lost my NCB discount worth over 20 years. Reference number: 500-01-071218

Poor representation of my case. Collision with bus on narrow road with dashcam footage to support my case. Bus over white line and did not slow. I had almost stopped and was always on my side of the white line when bus hit me. No roadside signs to warn of narrow point. LV just forced me to accept 50:50 liability and did not challenge bus company - Stagecoach. I felt really let down. Then they sent the renewal increasing by over 75% and that was before reducing my NCB from 9 to 4 years. Went elsewhere, disgusted.

I have been a happy LV customer up until this year whenever one of my car insurance policies nearly doubled in price. Then today I phoned up to cancel my home insurance renewal because it has also nearly doubled. They didn't even ask why I was cancelling.
