I have just had to spend over £400 for a new insurance policy 2 months ahead of time. because I have been away and come back to a letter from the motor insurance database telling me that there is no record of my vehicle being insured. I gave them the change of registration in August 2018 and had insurance document that ended in 2018 for this registration. I looks has though they have insured me for the old registration number. I could not get into my account. I called Aviva (who are the underwriters), as much use as a wet paper bag. I got my brother to search for other number for (Quote me angry) Every number I called we can only deal wit claims. I wasted over 4 hours trying to get this sorted out. in the end, I just took out a new insurance. I am going to try get my two months back plus report this to the ombudsman if they do not do anything about this. I am really disappointed and angry I would give them NO STARS
