My thanks to Antony who came on-board via remote access and restored my empty Google Favorites folder, one very good reason for having a backup drive.
And he was also able to resolve my Yahoo mail problem as well.
And for the record, if you access Genesis/Energy IQ [and I suspect a few other companies] and get told “your browser is out of date”, that’ll be because they probably prefer eg Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, don’t like Microsoft Internet Explorer.
