The dog bed is really sturdy, and well built. If I had any quibble with it, it is that the instructions are not as clear as they could be. For example, the instructions fail to explain that two of the screws need to be screwed in before the front bar is put into place, otherwise its impossible to screw them in. Also the screw holes for the slats are too close to the end which makes using a power driver really hard to use, if like me you have physical difficulties that preclude using a hand driver. I really hope these comments are helpful because it really is a great product.
