We looked at many different companies and models of bed before deciding to buy our king-size Deco bed from Get Laid Beds. This was on the basis of its elegant design and solid construction/workmanship. The price we paid was competitive with the prices charged by several other bespoke bedmakers. The company was good to deal with and their communication over the delivery itself and our initial queries following delivery was professional and helpful. We had a particular issue with the shade of the wood veneer on the delivered item. We felt that this was nothing like what we thought we had ordered. We were told that we were entitled to send the bed back if we were unhappy with it, but after some agonizing we decided we would keep it in the end. Interestingly, once we had assembled the bed and added the mattress to it, we were won over by the character of the veneer in particular. This did not clash as badly with the other colours and textures in the room as we feared it might do. In fact, we had to admit that it added something positive to them.
