I was very fortunate to have Iris Lee as an instructor. She utilized her vast life experience to adapt the learning of Voice Recognition Technology to meet my disabilities. I am eternally grateful. Hopefully, VRT training offered by Global Knowledge, in the future, will allow the learner and instructor to decide which VRT tool will be best suited for their learning needs. In my case, I believe that the VRT tool included with Windows would have been a much better option than the $500 program offered to me. Finally, with regards to the utilization of VRT at my place of work, it was very unfortunate that no one was able to determine if any VRT program was compatible with a specific health care software application. Ultimately, I finished the course feeling confident of my abilities (primarily due to my very competent instructor), yet very unsure as to whether I will be able to utilize my knowledge in my work.
