My slot was booked between 8-12.
At 11:30 I got a call that the truck got a flat and they were getting it replaced and would be on their way.
I asked for an ETA and received nothing.
At 1 I checked in and asked if there was an update and was told the tow truck was close and they’d be coming righth after that.
At 3pm I had to ask for another update and was then told they needed to go and get the tired first and they just picked it up and should be fixing it soon.
I understand that some circumstances and unplanned, but it is frustrating to have to keep reaching out for any progress while my couch is in pieces standing in my kitchen.
If a service is going to be outside of 2 delivery windows, it would be helpful to have the person provide updates or to have them request a different truck be sent out.
It’s been 8 hours and I still don’t know when my stuff will be picked up because the driver has only provided vague updates along the way.
