Mine is a similar story to all the others on here...
Items cancelled after being ordered. Luckily for me I never pay them until I see the item. I always pick up in store and I'd advise anyone else to do the same...
The latest pantomime started when I ordered a pair of boots.
I chose to pick up in store (within an hour)...
I waited for five hours before calling customer service...
The first call was "handled" by a girl who was obviously treating it as her Saturday job.
When asked if my boots were in store she repeatedly said they were. I asked her to call the store but she "wasn't allowed" to do that.
I asked her why, if my goods were in store, hadn't I been informed. She said they were probably too busy.
I told her that wasn't really an acceptable response. I then said I'd have probably have been better served going to Millett's...
She said, "Well... we own Millett's so we'd get paid anyway..."
I told her to grow up and terminated the call...
The next call was to a guy who basically left me on hold for six minutes then dropped the call...
The third operator told me the order hadn't reached the warehouse and said she'd push it through, sound familiar...
The boots were there... Hoorah!... They existed.
In Warrington...
They are now pestering me to go and collect the boots from their Cardiff store... I'll pop down later if I can be bother.
MY ADVICE: Go Elsewhere... But if you must deal with these fools, never pay up front...
