Dear Gooutdoors, i feel someone needs to make their voice heard and unless you can show me evidence that my bike was indeed lost i will spend every day talking about my experience wherever i can and i just won't stop until a manger gets on the phone to me and does something about it. I also feel like i have a moral obligation to do something after now reading many others also have had the same issues as me My Story: Covid 19 and the lockdown has been very difficult for many people in different ways and i am sure everyone has there own story. I live alone and have not seen anyone for weeks and have found this period particularly hard. I decided two weeks ago that i would start getting fit during this time and after 20 years ordered a brand new bike from your website. I didn't cheap out and try and buy from a non reputable website (i know your company turns over about £200m a year i did my research), second hand or ebay. I just wanted to place the order with a company that I thought was reputable and wait for delivery. Here is a time line of my experience 1) Ordered on a sunday night may 10th. There website has very strange delivery dates so i waited patiently trying to understand bikes are in high demand yet at the same time there is less people working (i also work in a e-commerce distribution company as well so i can see first hand how things are)3) Around one week later when i didn't hear anything i called their landlines and found out they are not taking calls. I also reached out by email and also facebook messenger as well. Every day i would get a different message related to this delivery by sms and also by fb messenger. I asked for a refund so that i could spend this money with another company and they REFUSED. they said there system just won't allow a refund. Surely there are laws against this? I will now be looking into this4) Eventually i got a email saying my bike is being delivered and a tracking number. The next day i sat at the delivery address like a little child waiting for delivery of my new toy. I then got a sms saying your order has not been sent and that the company is working to get this out and  this delay is because of covid 19... I then asked on fb messanger why i have a tracking number if the bike has not been sent. They assured me it's on the way and i just need to wait one more day which i did5)  I waited Thursday and Friday when i could of just been earning money but i wanted this bike so much6) Today is saturday the 23rd of May, i wanted to believe a company could not be this ruthless and hoped my bike world turn up. I then wasted more time on messenger asking if this bike would arrive and they told me it's been lost. HOW CAN a bike be lost? why cant they give me another bike ? I am in complete shock at their service. I dont wish any business or brand any harm but unless they can show me evidence that it was really lost i wont stop and i will keep doing everything i can to make sure others dont go through the same experience i did. I believe they have probably lied and know how to cheat the tracking system. I would like evidence that my bike was indeed lost or i will not stop until this company gets a formal investigation.  Saying that i am upset at the way they have treated me would be an understatement
