I placed an order 12 days ago, and all I have for my money is 4 texts telling me they are "On it" and another telling me they are late, as if I didn't know already. They haven't even started to pick the order, and are doing this to thousands of customers. Read their reviews for the online orders and you will not find a single good one. I told them in 3 emails and 2 phone calls my order is cancelled and they claim the order "cannot be cancelled" even though they haven't started to pick it and don't even know if they have stock. They are doing this to everyone, ALL online orders can be cancelled within 14 days of placing the order, this is covered and expressly stipulated in the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Go Outdoors are illegally trying to force their customers to accept cancelled orders, I am reporting them to trading standards, they are doing this to everyone and thousands of people have been badly treated and ripped off by them over the last few months. This is why this company is failing as a business, so if your thinking of buying from them, GO ELSEWHERE. You have been forewarned and they are treating everyone in this illegal manner. When they go under, which they will, anyone they still owe money to can kiss it goodbye unless they paid on a credit card.
I will NEVER buy anything from them again or their parent company JD Sports who are just as bad from their reviews for online orders. Obviously their directors are out of their depth and just exacerbating the problem with incompetent management strategy and procedures. AVOID at all costs and go buy from one of the many other companies out there even if it means paying slightly more, at least that way you will get your goods.
