I needed a bike for a special birthday present, so went online to search for one that was in stock somewhere, and came across Go outdoors with all shops in my area showing stock.
A phone call later to our local branch to reserve one, and told no stock available in any of the nearest shops to me either, computer glitch, advised to order from main hub for home delivery, which we did.
Bike was delivered 3 days later than advised....and damaged.
Phone call to customer services, tried to get me to take it into milton keynes shop for inspection and refund. As i am nearly 70, and the access to the store would be impossible for me with the size and weight of the bike l declined, and requested that the bike be collected, and a full refund given. I was asked to 3 available dates for pick up, which i did, and had 3 non shows. I have sent 5 emails in total, plus the 1 phone call, been addressed by 5 different operators, and still no joy.
I searched for reviews on here, and quickly realised that the the chances of returning the bike and getting a refund were slim, and opted to keep the bike, rather than risk losing both.
I feel that this company is on the brink of collapse, and would advise people not to buy from there, or you might be out of pocket.
