I rented a car with Goldcar in Marseille for 15 days. The first car was bumped all over. I didn't mind so much because I paid for a full insurance. But why do I say "the first car"? Because the "Engine fault" light came on after 10 days and I had to change it. Of course they didn't deliver a new car to me. No, I had to drive to Marseille again. The second car was so bumped on the co-drivers side that we all the time thought that my wife didn't close the doors properly when we went over 80 km/h. And even after that I would write a bad review. No, I am writing it because two weeks after coming home from the holiday they deducted 40 euros from the credit card with no explanation or an e-mail. I didn't react immedietly and after 2 days another 40 euros off the credit card. Again no explanation! I had to lock the credit card. I wrote to them and after 10 days they appologised that the second 40 euros were a mistake. I asked them what was the reason for the first 40 euros. After a month no reply. My bank is now handling the situation. NEVER AGAIN WITH THE GOLDCAR!
