Green Flag USED to be an excellemt company. Aproximately 10 years ago after I forgot to renew and then called them for help; they agreed to help if I renewed over the phone which I did and they came. I was delighted. Until this morning I gave them 30 yrs of business. Early today I had a puncture and after calling they said the policy doesn't exist. After checking my renewal docs from August 2023 it was agreed that they had attempted to collect the renewal fee automatically but couldn't due to card details changing. They said they wrote to me but had I received their letter I would have instantly dealt with it. This is the painful bit.....I offered to settle here and now and then they could come, but this was denied me - even if I renewed on the telephone they'd charge £150 for coming. If anyone in management is reading this I'd be happy to talk, I feel I've been dumped for no good reason and they would have continued receiving my business indefinitely had they behaved considerately.
