Ordered an engagement ring online, ring was delivered on time and was lovely. However it was too small. Went into the Bury store on sunday and was told they would order a larger size on Monday and it would be delivered Tuesday. There was an extra £10.20 to pay which I was told to pay when I collected the ring. Received a phone call Monday morning asking me to go into the store to pay £10.20 before they could order it. Went to the store, gave the lady my ring for exchange and my receipt. She then tells me the larger size is now no longer in stock. To cut a long story short, she called the manager over who needs a lesson in customer service. He looked at me like I was something on his shoe. He asked me if I wanted a refund, to which I said yes. He then asks me for the ring and my receipt. I told him they had it. He said they didn't and the lady I gave it to said she hadn't seen my ring. He was speaking to me like I was an idiot so I said to him, do not speak to me like I am an idiot and he said he wasn't (HE ABSOLUTELY WAS) he told me to check my bag, I said no, you have the ring and the receipt. He said they definitely did not. They started looking and eventually found the ring. No apology for saying I hadn't given it to them. He then asks for my receipt, I told him you already have it. Again they eventually found it but no apology. I left the shop so upset and angry. Never had such disgusting service. I will NEVER shop there again. I am putting in a complaint to head office as the staff were terrible and the manager needs a new vocation that's doesn't involve customer contact. Rude beyond belief and shocking service
