Positive stars are for the people I dealt with face to face.
The negatives though- misleading website information, poor customer support, unreliable timescales and prices.
The story- took my bike for repairs, front gears are shot. Was told I had to book a bike health check first. Booked a 30 minute slot online. Took my bike in store and was told I'd get a call back in a day or so.
Tried to complain about timescales online. Was told to try calling their customer number to reach the store and chase them. Not my job. Live chat ended without asking for my response.
Technician eventually called and quoted 130 for repairs and a week's pickup. Absolutely not, I need that bike for work. Declined and arranged pickup. Technician called back and offered a £20 fix the same day, which worked.
Well done to the guy that did the job in the end but Halfords treated me as an absolute from start to finish.
Moral of the story- go elsewhere for bike repairs.
