Do not ever use Halfords especially for mobile fitting .
I booked in a start stop battery change on for the first appointment to be cancelled at the end of the appointment window.
I rearranged another appointment and again they failed to show and didn’t even contact me to notify me . I called customer service only to be told that they didn’t have the stock and the engineer had continued to his next job yet the tracking system showed the van was on its way then that the job was in progress , they clearly specify that they will call when on the way yet this process has never been followed,
I made a third appointment and after calling customer service was told that the engineer estimated time of arrival was 9.43 and yet again as the window for appointment expired I received a text saying I would have to reschedule due to engineer being sick so yet again I’ve had to reschedule another appointment.
I filed a complaint but they won’t respond
It has so far cost me 3 days of time and money and a failure to even respond to my complaint or compensate me for my loss off time and money .
I thought using a reputable company and using the mobile fitting to reduce inconvenience but it has created more than I could have imagined a company such as Halfords I thought I would get a 5 star service but this is sub zero standard and the service is the worst I have ever known.
