I recently visited Halfords Autocentre (Woodgate-A059, Leicester) for a front tyre replacement, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience. Despite the service taking 1.5 hours, the quality of workmanship was well below expectations, leaving me with multiple issues.
Key Concerns:
*) Poor Finish on Alloy Wheels – The alloys were left with visible imperfections, uneven refinishing, and rough patches, suggesting a rushed and unprofessional job.
*) Missing Valve Cap – One of the tyres was returned to me without a valve cap, indicating a complete lack of attention to detail.
*) Additional Vehicle Issues – After the service, I had to take my car to another garage as certain parts appeared to have been affected. This raises serious concerns about how my vehicle was handled during the service.
Despite raising these issues, I have not received a satisfactory resolution. Given my experience, I have completely lost trust in Halfords and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for their vehicle servicing needs.
If you're considering using this branch, think twice – poor quality control and lack of accountability mean you might end up dealing with more problems than you started with.
