The more often I go the worse it gets. Ok shop to buy bike parts and bikes from but not a good place to send your bike for repairs. Do not repair your bike there learn yourself how to. (summary: they messed my gears up, they punctured my tire) First time I went and bought a bike, they built it, it was perfectly fine worked well. Now because I bought a bike I got something where basically I go back in like 3 months later and adjust brakes and gears as you need to. They adjusted the breaks but they messed up my gears a bit, I thought the issue would disappear after a while but it didn't but I got used to it. Later after about a year or so after buying the bike I went in as my back axle was bent, the part was like 11£ and labour was more than the part. I paid and I was told to come in on monday but the bike wasn't ready on monday so I came in on tuesday and picked it up. When I got on the bike I realised my back tire had less pressure than the one in the front (it should have more). I didn't pay attention as I thought they didn't inflate it much and as I get going I realise that my gears are even more messed up than they were before, not worse but not what I was used to (not sure how they managed to do that). Now I suppose I could get along with that, later I get home after I finish doing some stuff around town I come home and pump my back tire up. After 2 whole days when I needed to use it again the back tire was back to a similar pressure when I picked it up from halfords so I pumped it back up and got going, again after I leave it the pressure goes down again, so obviously there is a puncture. Now I go to halfords to tell them about the circumstance only to be told that I need to pay for replacement as I was responsible for the puncture. Now my bike is quite cheap so I thought it's not worth repairing it only to possibly get it back worse so now I will soon buy a new bike (not from halfords) and I will repair it myself when needing to. I'd rather spend the money to buy some tools and learn myself how to repair my own bike using the widely available resources rather than come to them to find out that each time I pay for a part in bike to get repaired something else is broken or affected in a negative way.
