Disgusting communication or rather non at all but happy to take your money as usual. This may not apply to all branches but the staff if any at Old Kent Rd, London SE1 5BA lack customer skills & are putting down the reputation of Halfords. They never seem to answer calls of pick up phone & put it straight down. I am away of the recent pandemic which cause delays but if a customer places a click & collect item which says it should be ready to collect in a couple of hours I expect it to receive a message to collect within at lease 6hrs. I waited 48hrs & still no message. I even went through an online chat who stated that they will contact store & get back to me & nothing. Eventually my son was going there to see if he could purchase an item so I gave him my order number to find out what was going on. He waited it the long queue outside. When he got to the counter he showed the the order number & was given my item that I was still waiting for a message to collect. I find this lack of communication disgusting if I knew that this experience was going to be like this at Halfords I would have got my urgently need item from across the road at PC World for the same price. I ordered this item to collect because it was available by a certain time as I was not going to be around the next day as I would be in Bristol. I could not even get through to cancel my order. Disgusting Service. If you do not have the staff to run a reasonable service at this branch I suggest you keep it closed. Greenwich Branch do not seem to have a problem so I also suggest its the staff at Old Kent Road. Sack them & employ committed staff.
