If I could give 0 stars, it would be too many. Took one Uber ride in about 3 years and within twelve hours my account was hacked and I got $108 charge on my card. I cancelled the card and put in a claim with my bank… but only after trying to contact Uber for 3 days. Their only solution: keep sending “reset password links”, even after I repeatedly told them I could no longer access my account. Fast forward a month and it happens again… with a new card that Uber had no access to. This time 5 charges totaling around $300… again customer service was absolutely useless and worse, wanted the first 6 and last 4 of my card number AND the expiration date. Also note, I placed a stop payment on anything Uber.. they got around it by changing the format that they charge (changed from Uber.com to help.Uber.com). Keep asking for my bank info and claiming they can’t delete the hacked account until they have all my card info. An utter and complete scam of a company. I’ll warn everyone I know not to use any form of Uber. Also, little known fact (the only useful thing provided by anyone in customer service), they had a massive system hack in the beginning of September 2022… but you don’t hear about that anywhere, do you? Just take a look at the Uber Newsroom on their website. Stay away from them; they’re a terrible company and have the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with.
