I determined my trip to be from San Diego to Rancho Mirage in California (the trip was around 117 miles), After me and the driver reached 30 miles away from my destination, suddenly the trip was cut on his phone, and I received a request to rate the driver and a receipt was sent, while we were still on the high way!!!
At the same time, the driver got a request to verify his identity by taking a photo of his face. This was very weird and unsafe and scary incident!!!! I had to take another ride to reach my home. Easily any driver could have been able to kidnap me because we were not anymore tracked by Uber company via GPS.
Suddenly the trip was ended, I was not reached to my designated destination, and now I will not get reimbursed by my work company because my ride was not from my work in San Diego to my home, instead it was split to two trips for unclear ambiguous reasons. This is ridiculous and not acceptable!!!
