I reached out to Uber Help on the app about a past order. My issue was that a few days prior, I had ordered something from Uber Eats and part of the order was missing. No big deal at the time, I immediately reached out to Uber to let them know and they were to refund me in Uber Cash. Great. For several days I was checking my account to see if the money had shown up and it hadn’t, so I reached out once again to Uber Help to see if I was missing something or if the money was on the way.
The Customer Service representative (Tushar) that I spoke to was incredibly rude, did not answer my question, and then proceeded to”hang up” on me via the chat.
I then requested more help. A Yogendra opened the chat, then immediately “hung up” on me as well. It was incredibly rude.
I have since gone through the receipts and realized that Uber had just not charged me for the item in my final bill as opposed to refunding my account. So it was my error. And had someone explained that to me, I would have understood.
All I needed was someone to explain what I was missing. I am a very reasonable person. I was very shocked at how rude both these representatives were.
