Im a 5 star Uber driver and I've been driving for a little over a year in both Boston, Ma and Providenc, RI. However recently all of sudden my account stop allowing me to receive Uber X in my home state, before this I was driving in 2 states (MA and RI) with no issues. I have spoken to at least 12 associates from Uber support and no one can tell me what happen or how to resolve this. They all give different responses, first they told me it was an internal issue that they would work on it and never did, then they made me reapply to drive in a new city and majority of them didn't understand my issue and was of no help. Its very frustrating when you have a group of employees and no one is able to help. Uber have the worst customer support for drivers. A multi-billion company and you can't afford to have a knowledge worker that understands issues that arise within the app.
