Ordered on the GDK app and was delivered by Uber. As soon as I got the bag into the lounge where I had light I found my order was actually somebody else’s. I ordered £40 worth of food and there was a wrap and some cheese balls in there. Whole family were sat with scraps.
Called the Uber help line on a Friday night and couldn’t get through. Went to GDK instead. They replied after 3 days and told me to contact Uber again. This time I got through and they don’t want to know because it’s past 48 hours. Explained I tried to contact but they’re were not interested. In my opinion this is an issue GDK and Uber need to fix between themselves but that being said, the Uber support team service is utter garbage. I run a business and I know that satiating a customer when something goes wrong goes a long way in retaining them.. it’s not rocket science. Now I’ll just spread word and not order 1. A GDK and 2. Any food company that uses Uber to deliver food.
