After having a customer vomit in my backseat, I contacted Uber support to proceed with the correct steps. They wanted to see pictures of the mess, which I sent. Next they wanted to see a detailed receipt from an auto detailer, which is understandable. The issue is that it is spring and every detailer within 30 minutes (mobile or not) had at minimum a week long book out. They would not budge on seeing a receipt even though they had pictures of the biohazard in my car. Nor would they accept receipts of the supplies I bought to clean the car. So I was not only out the cleaning supplies but also a day on the road. So it appears that Uber has very little support for the people working for them. Maybe next time I continue to drive with vomit in the car and see how happy the customers are. I can always work for Lyft instead.
