Over the past month, I have been shuffled from one representative to another without any resolution in sight. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue, Uber continues to deduct monthly membership fees from my account, even after I have explicitly requested them to cease. Their rationale that a friend or family member may be using the card does not excuse their lack of action. The card is under my ownership, and if I have formally requested the payments to be halted, Uber should comply without passing the buck back to me. It is alarming to note that I am being forced to pay for services I am not using, which is a clear violation of consumer rights. I urge Uber to rectify this matter without further delay and take responsibility for their disregard of customer service.
