This is the message i will be posting everywhere possible. Thanks for being worthless! What a joke! I ordered an uber at 2:08. I was told my driver would arrive in 5 minutes. I go outside and wait. I see tbe driver is one street over and no longer moving. I message asking if he prefer i walk to him- no response- i message saying im walking his way- no response. I walk the street over and now the map is showing he is at airport and will be back to get me in 9 minutes. I wait about 20 minutes while the map shows he hasnt moved at all. I message and csll him. No answer. I cant cancel ride bc uber is saying i will get a cancellation fee and then my next ride would cost double bc its prime time traffic at this point. I message uber customer service- through my driver food delivery app bc they make it impossible for riders to get in touch with their “customer service”. I tell my situation and give my request to have them cancel my ride as it had now been over an hour with my driver not moving from his spot sitting at the airport and to give me a new driver at the same rate i wud have paid when i originally requested a ride at an early enough time before rates sky rocketed. At this point they transferred my chat about 8 times.. eventually i walked to the bus stop so told customer service to just return my money. They continued transferring me and about an hour and a half after i originally requested my ride the driver dropped my ride and it was hiven to a new driver. I did not see this as i was stating my problem to 8 didferent uber support people. As soon as i noticed i explained to the driver not to drive to my location bc i was already on the bus. I then get notified that i was charged 6.07 for a cancellation fee. Finally cust service bounced me to diff people enough times until i got a msg saying someone wud contact me in 6-12 hours. I then got a message that i was not able to be reimbursed bc i had reached the limit for price adjustments. Mind you i have only had 2 price adjustments out of 300 plus rides on the account my driver never showed up and i asked to have my mobey returned- all mistakes on their end. Yet now bc they screwed up too many times they refuse to return my money. I am outraged. Please let everyone u know that uber is robbers and not to support their disgusting poor excuse of an operation.
