Privacy is an issue with Uber. If you plan to take an Uber to a certain location and you want to be private about it, you can't delete that specific ride you took. Example: I want to take an Uber to a bar/location, but I don't want my significant other to search my phone next day or even next month and see where I went. You have to completely delete your account, wait about 30 days and then start a new account. But the good news is that you can delete your Uber account and join Lyft until you're ready to join Uber again, if you want to join them again. Uber loses MILLIONS of dollars in revenue because of this issue, which is great punishment for Uber since they don't want to fix this issue.
