Uber Priority Support for a driver that has nearly 1000 rides. If what I received was priority support I sincerely feel sorry for Normal support. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
Their first line know next to nothing, and seemingly their jobs are to negate actual technical requests to be fielded to those that can actually provide support as they give you misinformation, mixed information and think telling you “you cannot login on this device” is an appropriate response.
Having recently purchased a new phone, I initially could login view my info etc. I noticed a problem when I attempted to cash out and received a “still calculating last trip” despite me not having driven for over 24 hours.
I contacted uber support and they told me there was a suspicious login on my account and i need to verify my information. Ok must be the new phone. I logged out as requested - boom “login denied” They informed me after confirming my bank info, password change, 2FA etc this would be resolved.
that turned into resolved within 24 hours…
that turned into resolved within 48 hours…
that turned into “what’s your device model, we have to specifically unblock it”
that turned into, you cannot login to this device because it “has issues”
that turned into “We need to send this matter to a specialized team that should contact in 6-12 hours”
lie, after lie, after misinformation, after complete BS. 5 first line reps, all lying, misinforming and closing issues as resolved when it’s now been 4 days and I still cannot login, I still cannot cashout and it’s specifically affecting my cellphone and laptop logins as I can login to the iPad just fine. They refuse to admit that SOMEONE is capable of resolving this issue, but for whatever reason, their agenda is to refuse escalation, claiming they are the highest point of support and there is no other escalation options.
This experience alone, is leaving me to consider no longer driving for the app and taking my business to competitors, of which I have no doubt the support is of equal quality, but it is simply the principle of the matter
