Uber eats along with Uber support did not investigate my situation properly and claimed that the driver Victor followed procedure and they cannot reinburst me for food I have not received and the driver had the nerve to book my order as complete I ordered 2 meals for 2 kids of 11 years old at Kentucky Tokai Capetown last week Friday Driver msg me to say that he is waiting.. I immediately phoned him and ask him where is he as he is not outside He told me he is waiting at the garage on vans road Tokai I told him but that is not my delivery address and can he please bring it to the correct address which is 19 minutes away from my house He then told me he can't cos who is going to pay him for that trip I said we'll I don't no what your app show u but mine is correct I then ask him what about the food now the children is waiting he then told me again he cannot deliver it but will take ut back to the restaurant now I then got in my car and drove to Kentucky which. Is 5 minutes away from my house. Got there manager told me that no food was brought back I waited for more then a hour and no driver I phoned Uber support as well as the manager of Kentucky. I phoned the driver several times his number was on voice mail He eventually rock almost 2 hours later and told me he had other deliveries.. I mean hello u could have told me u 1st going to drop your other deliveries instead of me driving till there and wasted 2 hours of my time He got more angrier at me for being in the wrong..the other drivers that was standing there had the odesity to say that ooh yeah if it's wrong adress we eat the food up.. I then logged a complain and all that Uber support said after Investigating we cannot reinburst u as the driver has followed policy.. Which policy? He could have confirm address with me before leaving the store cos where on earth did he get that adress from on his ph.. 2ndly he can't even speak English properly and should not have said he will take the food back to the store now and rock 2hours later with a cellphone that was on voice mail 3rdly the restuarant dobt even know who the drivers are collecting the food air a knwo their names.. I've reacmany reviews and there are many ppl out there that the same thing happened and they were never reinburst of their hard earned monies and Uber drivers just take the food for themselves that they did not even pay for Uber eats are the worst cannot come near Mr delivery at all... Uber eats drivers are anyperson , don't show identification when collecting food just show the number and leave that's why the stores do not know who is responsible for who's order. Language barrier with most drivers.. I will never use Uber eats ever again they pathetic along with the support group that is of no help at all
