My neighbor left her phone in her Uber card yesterday. She never heard from the driver and came to me to use my phone to contact Uber customer service (I use the term in the very loose possible way). ALl you can do is "chat" with "human-powered" representatives (autobots) and get the same word for word replies with each question. If the bot feels it has given you all you need it ends the chat!!! I was able to access her ride account only once and give them the info (Driver, ride time date and addresses). They tried to contact the driver but, of course, he didn't answer. We never got an update or the return of the phone. I tried calling the phone and it went straight to voice mail. I texted and no response. My friend is elderly and frail so wasn't able to report via her computer app. Very disappointed and appalled the the lack of "service" from Uber. I will never use them again. At least Yellow Cab has easier ways to contact their company.
