I am absolutely appalled by Uber's handling of a recent billing issue. My wife was charged $96 for an entire year of Uber One when she clearly intended to sign up for just one month. This was an obvious mistake, yet Uber has refused to provide a refund. We contacted customer support immediately after noticing the error, expecting a quick resolution for such a straightforward issue. Instead, we were met with dismissive responses and a total lack of accountability. For a company of this size and reputation, this level of customer service is unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but a business that values its customers should be willing to make things right—especially when it's their app or system that causes the confusion. The refusal to issue a refund for a service that wasn’t intended to be purchased is not only disappointing but also feels like a blatant cash grab. We’ve been loyal Uber customers for years, but this experience has left us questioning whether the convenience is worth dealing with a company that doesn’t care about its customers. Proceed with caution—Uber’s customer service is non-existent, and their refund policies are a joke!
