Horrible customer service. Keeps bad service from improving. Cheats customer. Booked a ride yesterday. Easy address, Broadway, NYC. Said driver arrived. He did not. Called driver & he kept saying, in poor English, he was now coming. He did not. After 10 min of this ridiculousness, hailed a yellow cab. Cancelled before that but he kept engaging. Wrote message on app “driver didn’t show. Do not charge fee” I was charged $9.04. I had to use their poor customer service feature to refute charge & got an immediate 12.00 credit - to USE on 2 FUTURE UBER RIDES! Within 6 days! The message was that it was my fault but since I’m a good customer they’re giving me this ‘courtesy’ credit. You cannot give good service to HUMANS without access to HUMAN COMMUNICATIONS. Uber sucks!
