Avoid this company or have a house you're unable to sell. Bought a house from Heylo housing in 2000. Been trying to sell my 50% since July 2022. I paid for property to be valued gave them 8 weeks to sell only for it to fall thorough as the 1 person they referred failed the checks. They withdrew the advert when this person made an offer. In Jan its been staircased & advertised on open market to find out that the developers who Heylo originally purchased the property from have submitted the wrong map to land registry. This wasn't picked up by Heylos solicitors, it wasn't picked up by the solicitors they reccomended when I purchased my 50% share. After approx 4 months of waiting the purchasers have now pulled out & the developers & Heylo still can't decide who needs to complete the paperwork to sort this mess out. 12 months I've been paying rent & a mortgage when it should have been an easy sale of a new build property with no chain involved. No one will accept responsibility or provide any timescales as to when this situation will be resolved.
