Non Existent Delivery Service – very disappointing
We placed an order on 2nd January 2016, paid for home delivery service? We received a telephone call to arrange delivery and agreed the first slot which was Sunday 17th January 2016. Wednesday 13th January 2016 10.46am received a text confirming delivery on 17.01.16 between 13.30 – 15.30. Saturday 16th January 2016 10.49am received another text – “Happy to advise your order will be with you tomorrow between 13.30 -15.30. Our driver will call you in the morning to give more accurate time of arrival”. Also received a letter dated 5th January 2016 confirming delivery would be on Sunday 17th January 2016. So far so good, we thought this was quite good service informing us in advance and driver would confirm on the day.
Sunday 17th January 2016 we didn’t receive a call in the morning from the delivery driver but thought not to worry we would be in all day and happy with the two hour delivery slot. At about 2.45pm we thought it was strange we had not had a call from the driver to confirm time so I rang the call centre, very pleasant gentleman confirmed the order was on for delivery but running a bit late and said the driver would call before he was due to deliver. We didn’t receive a phone call and the delivery didn’t arrive, it is now Monday morning and we haven’t received any phone calls or texts to say why the order wasn’t delivered. Very disappointing service after starting so well.
