I would like to commend Sarah from the Telford store because she went above and beyond normal customer service when she sorted out the mess that the Wolverhampton store made of mixing my Dulux Grey steel 4 paint. As for the Wolverhampton store, absolute shambles, didn’t even get an apology for mixing my 5 Ltrs of paint wrong, they messed up the code and obviously the colour! I’m in the middle of a £25k kitchen refurb and the decorators had painted two walls in this wrong colour. Went to my local Telford store, spoke to Sarah (who had previously organised the mixing at Wolverhampton because Telford didn’t have the base paint). She was brilliant, she spoke to Wolverhampton Homebase, arranged for me to exchange the wrong paint for the right base paint, so I drove to Wolverhampton to collect it, then back to Telford for the correct mixing by Klaudia, who had volunteered to stay late that evening to make sure that I had the right paint ready for the next morning. Thank you Sarah and Klaudia, exceptional service. As for Wolverhampton, I never even got an apology for all the inconvenience so I will never go there again.
