Warranty,Where should I start, this is a two Company horrible nightmare experience and shall be left for Both Home Depot as well as Samsung.
I reached out to Home Depot as the original purchase was made with via Home Depot online. Samsung washer/dryer purchased with a one year manufacturer warranty.
Come to find out a one year warranty isn't actually a one year warranty, the warranty starts from the day the units were produced, not purchased.
I learned of this information when I tried to purchase the extended warranty prior to the yr warranty expiring.
Samsung informed me the unit was 14 months old and no longer eligible, what?Samsung blamed Home Depot ,OH Home Depot Knew, my opinion Home depot banks on a person purchasing a warranty from them. What if a person doesn't have the extra at that time...(per home depot agent,it's not thier job to sell Samsung products ,warranties)but you sell the mech right!!!lets not forget the wonderful Home depot manager Lucas that left me on enteral hold, and never bother to return to the call...What's disheartening is these people/the sells people know this information yet they fail to properly inform the consumer, what is it buried on page 999999 on the bottom left hand side in the corner.
Samsung's technical support/technicians can't leave them out ,I placed at least 20 calls to Samsung looking for some sort of reslove per Samsung the warranty expired in January, actually it doesn't expire until March 3rd,2023.
Finally two technicians came out, they for the most part spoke amongst themselves in a foreign language, im assuming stated I damaged my drying my a door, there is no damage on the outside of the door!!!
Therefore making the warranty void,I guess I caused the stink in the washer ,by the way,I called Samsung a day or so after I received the washer about that issue Almost a year later same issue.. the tech said just leave the door open, but water stays in there it will dry,ok,do can you replace the rubber...this is a 1700 nightmare!!!! Samsung, Home Depot thanks, but never again will I purchase anything for either Company....Buyer beware
