Referral from homedepot Caceres Eduardo, from ECS Election Connection Service, conducted himself with a high degree of professionalism. He provided thorough explanations for all his actions and offered his services at a competitive price. He was punctual and communicated clearly regarding the timeline for completing the job. I tried to order something online and it is the most ridiculous time-consuming aggravating experience I’ve ever had trying to shop that code down low does not work and this is the worst experience. I will never shop at Home Depot again.

Shar was working the Customer Service desk at the Home Depot in Arnold, MO this morning. Good thing for me! My wife and I had gone there to pick up a glass shower door which we had purchased online. It must weigh 150 pounds. When they brought it out from the store room, the shipping box had significant damage, and Shar suggested that we inspect the product before we took it home. It turned out that the shower door was okay. Then Shar not only called for assistance to help us load the door on our truck, she also gave us a roll of tape to re-seal the box while she went looking for an appropriate dolly to transport the item. Finally, I was so concerned about the possibility of damage to the shower door that I had forgotten about another item I had purchased. But Shar remembered, and she brought the item to me while we were loading the shower door. Here's the best part...Shar was not the employee who had waited on us when we came to pick up the door! She saw that there was a problem and came forward on her own initiative to help. Customer service at its best. Thanks, Shar!

I just competed a fairly large fence project at our home. I am not in construction but do fairly well on my own. I prepared my material list and priced Home Depot and our town’s local lumber yard. Home Depot was about 10% cheaper including delivery cost. My delivery was very timely and professionally handled. Out of $1800 of building materials I didn’t have one bad item. Upon finishing I had about 20 miscellaneous lumber items left over. I took them back this morning for a full and immediate refund. The staff at the Scripps Poway Parkway store could not have been more helpful. My whole experience was “Outstanding”!!! Thanks! Hal

Well it didn’t make me happy. Bought a new cub cadet mower and put it on my Home Depot card. My payments were for $29 a month and I always paid 40 to 50 to try to pay the balance down faster. Then I get a notice that I was late and I owed two months for a total of $248. My minimum payment of $29 went up to $124 a month and for the six months that we had had the lawnmower they charged me $499 interest. I could’ve gotten cheaper rates using a regular credit card. Much much cheaper. Don’t ever buy anything on time at Home Depot. And if I don’t pay the entire balance within the next six months, I’ll get charged another $499 interest.

I needed to make a return of a large product that I had purchased from Home Depot in Durbin Pavilion. Laurie with Customer Service was an incredible help to me and made things work very smoothly. I thank her and the team for all the help.

Refrigerator freezer does does not close properly. Serviceman cannot fix. Plans to deliver another, however I want the new one checked for proper function BEFORE installation in my home. You want me to pay you to check whether a product I have purchased works after you have installed it??? I don't want people installing defective products over and over again in my home. I don't want to deal with spoiled frozen food because you delivered a refrig with a freezer door that pops open every time the refrigerator door is closed. Madness!!

Purchased 4 appliances for installation from Home Depoit. the install team was more interested in speed than quality work. It was like watching a NASCAR pit crew. They are scheduled to return today to fix the issues. We shall see.

I tried to buy a gate opener but 3 employees were "too busy" talking and I could not any of them to open the locks on the cabinet. I went to an employee in the lumber department and he opened the locks so I could but the mighty Mule 271. If I did not live 2 miles from the Placerville store and get a 10% vet discount I would shop else where.

Home Depot service has not let me down once, rather 3 times. I will never purchase a large product from home depot again. The first time was with a patio door install. I wanted a standard door. They ordered custom door with the handle on the wrong side, therefore they returned it and sent me a second door. A two month delay. I later purchased a fridge. The fridge they brought me had an issue with the water dispenser. I called to return it within 24 hours. I decided to exchange it with a different fridge at Home Depot. They were supposed to send a person to pick up the fridge that was not working, however they did not. They assigned a person to fix the fridge. I tried to explained that it was supposed to be picked up. He did not speak English, so we communicated via Google translate. They later sent over the new fridge. The old fridge was still sitting in my house. They picked up the old fridge, however they did not communicate about the pick up. I was told that I could not get a refund because I never returned the previous fridge! It took close to 2 months to get a fridge that worked. It took about 3 months to get a refund from the first fridge. This year, I needed a dishwasher. We decided to give Home Depot one last try. My husband ordered it on-line. We were supposed to receive in on January 17th. We received an email stating that it was delayed to January 31st due to being on back order. We understood. On January 30th, we received another email stating that it is delayed to February 10th. I have no idea if we will get it by then, but this is yet another delay on an order. We were offered a $50 gift card for the delay. It is honestly insult to injury after 3 failed services. Never again. We gave it 3 tries with Home Depot. All were a failure.

Plants look terrible should be discounted like Lowe’s does and half of them should be free as they are past the point of saving. They are in a dark cold area of store these are tropical plants and need to be kept at a warm temp with light.

Former employee of The Home Depot for over 4 years. I would describe it as: amazing when its good, when its bad, look for a new job. This company allows employees to have money taken from their paychecks and endangers them to the point of almost death. TLDR - Management is too cowardly and will get someone injured or killed because they won't have an open conversation with troublesome employees, and theyd rather sweep everything under the rug and pretend nothing is happening and praying it wont. Management has ignored multiple emails, meetings they even agreed to. So they know money has been taken from employees, that our lives have been endangered. They DO NOT CARE. Management is either ALLOWED, or TOLD to lie, without consequence. Long version. Fat trimmed. When I got hired I was told within 2 years of being "okay" at my job, I should be expecting to be earning around 100k. This was a complete lie. The TRUTH.....is that ONE associate, ONE year earned that. This was told to myself and about a dozen others. When I alerted his boss of this discrepency, nothing happened. While I was in training in the field, the gentleman that trained me straight up tried to sell me meth on the clock but also partook himself. I alerted this to the boss that told me my pay expectation, nothing happened. When nothing happened I went to his boss, nothing happened. LUCKILY, for several years and MOST of my time here I had good bosses, so a few years went by. My managers started dropping because they were done dealing with the guy that did nothing, because all the work was shoved on them because the guy that promised people a crazy amount of pay and protected a meth user and dealer was and frankly still is, useless and more bad for this company than not. Now that all good managements gone(or inaccessable to me), lets get to the sad part that I HOPE.....someone big enough in the food chain will look into this, because a small pile of spoiled appled will ruin more if they are not trimmed. I got my SEVENTH boss early 2024. For perfect context, I had 2 broken feet(on top of a lot of general chronic pain), requested a lighter work load (was denied), requested to only have at MOST 8 hour shifts (3-4 days a week were over 9) I was covering a 150 MILE RADIUS, because we do not hire skilled, or reliable people when we are in a crunch, just someone with a pulse. I was written up once in my 4 years prior to this 7th boss due to a person in texas purposely putting gap in my schedule which was not discussed or agreed on as I was there to do as much as possible. (this was when texas had the nasty ice storm a few years bad, I was there for about a month helping) In less than a singular year I was written up 3, technically 4 times if you count my firing. Lets go over those. My first write up has no information or details due to my manager. So I will neither take that as is or defend myself. Two, due to my manager simply not having a conversation with not just A store associate,THE ONLY ONE, that has had guns pointed in my face. Because I called the associate out in the reschedule for that they need to pay more attention, go over with customers the correct information to avoid these issues. I was written up. Third. I had recently moved within 2 weeks. I was going to an area about 120 miles round trip away, thats well over an hours drive. A customer had unfortunately gotten called into work and my boss had texted me before I had even woken up which he knew. asking me if I was willing to push my workday back to accommodate the customer. This was originally posed as a QUESTION, or...an OPTION. I had called the customer and explained I had to be back in town before 5pm and I was unable to start my day roughly 6 hours later than normal. She understood this and rescheduled without issue. I had a 1 on 1 meeting with my boss that morning anyways. I was told that wasn't an option, even though it was worded as one. I was then written up, and what irks me the most is I told him, I had responsibilities I had to be in town for, because if I clock in at 8:30AM, My shift should be DONE bye 4:30, he apparently didn't know that, even though it was in a text message, crazy how managers get to lie to write you up. My fourth write up was because my boss is either a pathological liar, had a vendetta or there is just something wrong in his electric meatball. Someone was not doing thier job and I simply told him I was not going to do someone elses work when they can do it themselves, they are capable, and thats also POLICY AND PROTOCOL. It is crazy that this massive company protects meth dealers, management that gives you false information about your pay, lies to you (this guy still works here), pathological liars, management that doesn't do their job/lies to employees. Management(at least mine) was allowed to continuously lie or leave out VERY IMPORTANT details to negatively impact others and the management(bosses) above did not care when you told them that. At the end of the day what happened, happened. The issue of management not taking the following seriously: associates doing their job so wrong it takes money out of others paychecks, and associates getting one or if not both wrong being address and or phone number where guns/weapons get pointed in your face/direction. I would imagine NO ONE wants this while they were work. But they dont care. Have fun shopping here, they are willing to have someone be injured or killed due to other employees not doing their job right.....daily. Where is the accountability? Where is the responsibility? Where are the leaders, the managers? This company will continue to fire, hire and put people in danger because they refuse to open their eyes. They liked to believe progress is good at any cost. Even if that could be my life, maybe yours if you work here.
