CAUTION! If you purchase something (compact washing machine) from HOME DEPOT online and not able to use it, they will not accept a return. It is for an RV and must fit in the closet where the faucets are, door opens the wrong way. They have a 48-hour policy. I called and was told they would accept the return and pick up on a certain day and time. Day came and went. When I called again, they said, it was in error that I was told that. Beware and be sure, under NO CONDITION, NO RETURNS

I purchased a Whirlpool fridge, range and dishwasher. The fridge arrived damaged which was replaced. Three days after the delivery I tried to use the oven. It is completely defective and not working. They have a two-day policy for replacements. I had to call contact Whirlpool and they need to order a part which can take 2-3 weeks to receive so I will have a non working range for over a month. I asked for an exception to be made and a supervisor offered me a gift card.

They came two hours early so we weren’t ready for them. They set the refrigerator down in front of my bedroom so I couldn’t get out to make sure they did things properly. I will never purchase from HomeDepot again.

Horrible delivery service. Delivery driver didn’t bother to get out of the truck. He drove slow past my house as drove off. He then lied and said my order couldn’t be delivered. Procedure is they supposed to leave something on the door. Nothing was left on the door because they never get out of the truck. Just be lazy. they refused to come back and told me to reschedule for another week out. It’s obvious that they were too lazy to deliver in the first place so I just canceled my order and bought another washer and dryer from Lowes was able to give me next day delivery.

Incomplete delivery, avoidable delay, and a lesson for customers I ordered plants and potting mix for a small landscaping project and paid for delivery so I wouldn’t need to visit the store. On the delivery date, the driver arrived without the potting mix. He confirmed it had not been loaded onto the truck and documented this at the time. This left me with live plants that could not be planted as intended. Anyone who gardens will understand that delays like this are not trivial—plants don’t sit indefinitely without risk. When I contacted customer support, I was initially told that the delivery fee could not be refunded because some items had been delivered. That position didn’t reflect the fact that the order—and the service I paid for—were incomplete. Only after pushing back was the situation resolved and a refund issued. My takeaway is simple: • The issue itself was straightforward and avoidable • The initial response made it more complicated than it needed to be • If you find yourself in a similar situation, it’s worth calmly insisting on a fair outcome—because you may not be offered one initially In the end, the matter was resolved, but it required more effort than it should have for a basic delivery error.

I went to the North Charleston home Depot. It was very difficult to find an employee to help me find an item. When I finally found an employee he was very rude because he was busy playing on his phone and too busy to help me. I couldn't find what I was looking for. There was a spill on the floor in the aisle but no sign there to warn people to be careful. I gave up and went across the street to Lowe's and had a great experience. Then I come home and watch the news and I find out that home Depot has hired some illegal trapper to come take the cats that were taken care of at home Depot and dump them down the road in the woods to die. Disgusting! It is clear that home Depot does not care about this community. I will never give home Depot my business again!

Home Depot customer service online is beyond ridiculous. We have a pro account with them. I've had to deal with incompetence and inflexibility. This last time might be the last time I deal with them. Other options are become available and I will now be exploring other options. At the very minimum they will not be getting the kind of business they could get with me because dealing with them is a nightmare I choose to ignore.

I’m trying to collect on my carpet warranty and Connor in the Cicero NY store is telling me things the warranty does not say and is very unreasonable! Do not believe anything they say or any of the written warranty because they just make up things that are not my warranty to void the warranty! Now I have to pay to get a lawyer to fight this.

I started a flooring installation project with Home Depot for LVP. At first, the process was fine... until it wasn't. It starts with their calculation system being inflexible. They charge you for the square footage of the area plus the 10% extra materials for waste IN LABOR and they weren't upfront about it. It would be one thing if they said it straight out, but the process is hidden between the lines and you can only be sure you aren't being overcharged by religiously checking the receipts. Then, after all the order was sorted out (I started the project doing partial flooring, but later added in the whole house so I had to order more materials and delay the start date), it turns out upon delivery that the Home Depot had been backlogged on one of the LVP floorings I wanted. So, what did they do instead? They quietly tried to replace my order with a totally different LVP and prayed I wouldn't notice. Well, guess what? I noticed. My flooring installation is delayed, I have 10 boxes (it wasn't even the right number of boxes! I ordered 8 boxes from the first order, and then 3 boxes of this same LVP in the second order AND THEY DELIVERED THOSE 3 BOXES JUST FINE) of LVP that I didn't ask for. So, Home Depot is like: "Let's schedule a return pickup date so we can get those off your hands" and I'm like, "Okay" and schedule it for the next day. They reassured me that the pickup person would help move the material (because of course Home Depot packed the wrong materials at the bottom hoping we would not notice it with how heavily it was wrapped up!) but it turns out, the pickup person said it was against policy for them to touch materials that weren't part of the return! So, guess what? Me (a person that can barely lift 20 lbs) and my elderly mom had to lift about 12 of these heavy LVP boxes and move them aside for the pickup guy to even begin taking the materials! I understand their rules, but they don't even have any sympathy? This was the result of THEIR mistake and the guy doesn't even try to sound sympathetic or make an exception for clearly people that are struggling! Where has the world ended up in where someone can just look at clearly weak people struggling, when you're a strong person, and doesn't even offer to help! Get your story straight, Home Depot! I'm so upset by this whole damn experience that I don't know where to channel this frustration at.

What a nightmare and held for ransom...I didn't have a choice but to stick it out and wait for my December order. My purchase was backordered, I accept that and thought that each time they called to workout delivery times that it would happen...7 times it was rescheduled. 7 times I made arrangements to be home. Even during times where they confirmed they day before that I would get it...no show. They finally made special arrangements for me to receive it at the end of February. If I had the chance to do it again I would have canceled my order. Instead I held on waiting for them to come through each time they promised delivery and waiting for a Resolution Specialist to make it right. 🤣🤣🤣 If you are ordering on line and thinking of delivery...think twice. I love my appliance, but would never buy it from Home Depot again because of the hassle and lack of acknowledgement of failures in their processes, staff and systems.

as promised by a store associate that my delivery would arrive before 3:30 PM, as my building does not allow deliveries after that time. I specifically explained that I am leaving on an overseas trip and could not wait or reschedule. Despite this assurance, the delivery did not arrive before 3:30 PM and no proper solution was offered. This caused significant inconvenience and unnecessary stress, especially given my travel plans. I am trying to change my flight now which will cost me hundereds of dollars, and I still dont know if or when Home Depot can deliver. I am very disappointed that a commitment made in the store was not honored.

Never ever get anything delivered from the Home Depot appliance wise. The delivery people have no idea what they are doing. I had the first dishwasher installed incorrectly, and the guy left a big scratch on the top. The men also were very unprofessional, running in and out of my house and screaming at each other and even going to the extent of talking about the next customers medical condition in front of me. The second dishwasher that got delivered also has a big scratch on the top and the guy who installed it disconnected my pipe from my sink while installing the dishwasher drain and I was unaware so I ran the sink and completely flooded the underneath my sink. He just left it completely disconnected. Now I have to deal with an insurance claim regarding mold. Just save yourself the trouble and do NOT order a single thing from this place! You'll never even see me in a Home Depot after this experience.

We recently had our refrigerator delivered today. The installers were one hour late. Upon removing our old refrigerator, they refused to haul away our old one because of old dirt and debris. My husband started cleaning the debris while I called Home Depot in the appliance department. They referred me to an 877 number. In the process, the installers left and the new refrigerator in our house and uninstalled. The Home Depot service department said they would send someone out within 48 hours and compensate for food spoilage. UNACCEPTABE!!

Yea depot sucks nowadays...they used to be great but thats why they only show a 1 star out if 5 rating...I placed order over a week ago and the morons blew up my email and phone saying partial order ready. Then morons said whole order here. I drive all the way there and find out NOT ready. How incompetent do you have to be to tell customers order ready when not!!!! And their search engine completely sucks. Customer service is the worst! I wouldn't be least but surprised if they went out of business!!

If your thinking about purchasing an appliance go see Jeff Bresson, he's awesome, very knowledgeable about each brand and their parent company, very helpful in ever way possible. Highly recommend him,we've purchased several appliances from him and very satisfied with each item, he was able to answer all of our questions and he informed us about our delivery so after the sale all we had yo do is wait until the delivery date. Great employee and person.

Costomer service dept. lacks kindness and costomer service in Loveland, Co. Trying to pick up an order is stressful from one of the ladies that works during the week. I hope I can see improvements in that department.

This is the 2nd time I have placed an order with Home Depot and cancelled after no tracking because of their vendors. Home Depot gives a shipping date and then the day you supposed to get item, look up tracking and nothing changed. Had to call Home Depot to find out it won't be shipped on the date and that they are waiting for vendor.... IF YOUR VENDORS ARENT DOING THEIR JOBS, FIND A BETTER VENDOR!! My first order was a refrigerator and so I cancelled since no idea when the vendors could get the products, and I bought from Lowes. Same thing today. Partial order shipped yesterday and they could not tell me when the other part of my order would be coming. Cancelled and ordered from Lowe's. Home Depot is losing a lot of customers and money!!!
