**Nov 2, 2022** After paying for 2 items around mid September that appeared to be sold out everywhere else online, I was excited to put through the order. The items don’t arrive after 5-6 weeks, which has happened before with sellers on Discogs (for example) but I’m secure knowing I’ll get the records or a refund—no panic on my end. I follow up via email and am told the items will ship later in the week. All good.
I then receive another automated email a day or so later that invoices me an additional £10 over and above what I had already paid. I ask about the additional charge and am told it’s due to brexit, rising fuel costs, and a new postal fulfillment service. I was under the impression that brexit occurred earlier than 6 weeks ago. Ditto for higher fuel costs. Sounds like I’m being gouged, no?
I reply asking for a full refund instead. Neil Monteiro replies back to tell me I can have my money back in 14 days. Amazing. I’ll be contacting my credit card company later today to notify them of Neil Monteiro’s “business practices” and to secure a refund much sooner.
